20 Steps To Apply for the Islamic University of Madinah Scholarship
- Step 1&2: Go to the official admission page and select language
Use the browser of your (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc) on your device, enter the Islamic University of Madinah admission page through www.admission.iu.edu.sa/LanguagePage.aspx, and select the language of your preference from Arabic, Bahasa, English, Francais, Urdu, etc.
Step 3&4: Creating New Application
To create the scholarship application to study at the University of Madinah, you’ll click on the New Application menu.
Step 5: Welcoming message
Here, you will see a warm welcoming message from the university, it will inform you that you are to review the documents required and application method. Just read this and proceed to the next page.
Step 6&7: Scholarship Requirements
The documents required for the scholarship are Passport (for non-Saudi citizens), high school certificate (both original and translation to the Arabic language), high school transcripts (original and translation), medical report, certificate of birth, two letters of recommendation (from any two reliable scholars or organization), the certificate for accepting Islam (for non-Muslim by birth, but has accepted Islam), and lastly, a testimony of conducts.
Here, you’ll need to mark “I have read and understood the conditions, notices, and commitment stated above, and I agree to comply with them in full”. Then click continue to proceed to the next step.
Step 8: Generating of code
Here is a place to receive a code generated for you before proceeding to application page. This shows that you are not a robot but a human. Fill the field with the code that generated for you (for example 30987), then click continue to proceed.
Step 9&10: Activation Link and how to activate
Here, you will first submit your email and full names in order to receive your activation link for the scholarship application eligibility. Just fill these and tap on Send Email.
Go to your email inbox and click the activation link received from this mail ‘email@example.com’. Click the “The activation link from Islamic University”. From here you’ll be auto-redirected to the admission page.
Step 11&12: Personal Details
Here is where you are going provide all your personal information such as the name in full, passport info, birth date, gender info, nationality, birthplace, where you live, academic grades, the year you obtained your certificate, etc. Provide the requested info and proceed.
Step 13: Referees’ Information
You’ll be requested to provide your referees’ details. Choose either it is received from an Islamic icon or organization, their names, title, and post hold.
Step 14: Social & Health Status
After step 13, you’re to proceed to health and social status which include marital status (single or married), any chronic disability or disease or disability. Provide details about that and proceed.
Step 15: Quran memorization and Arabic skills info
This is all about your level of Quranic memorization and the Arabic skills you obtained. Provide the correct info on your memorization ranging from complete Quran, some parts, and so on.
Don’t forget to provide information on your Arabic speaking fluent as well as other languages you speak fluently. Do this and tap on continue to proceed to the next page.
Step 16: Contact Info
Here, you are to provide contact details where you can be traced to in case of an emergency. This is not limited to phone number only, but includes:
- Phone number: your country code and phone number (for example Saudi Arabia: +996). If you’re from Saudi and your phone number is 702290209, you will write (+996-702290209).
- Your country (for example Saudi Arabia)
- Your address which includes:
- City (for example Taif)
- District (for example Malq Quds)
- Street (for example Ummul Qura street)
- House number (for example 2209)
- Postal code (for example A4539)
- To complete this stage, choose the option, yes to claim you have access to PC and webcam.
Step 17: Other personal info
You’re required to submit other personal info related to your academic studies so far. Just give the correct answer to the survey questions. Also, do not forget a column asking about how you’re happy about the application, then write a statement of satisfaction like: “I’m fully satisfied with your application”. After this, tap on the save and send button.
Step 18: Faculty of study selection
Here you’re to choose from two main routes available which are: Theoretic Route and Non-theoretical Route. Choose any option suit you best from the two, not both.
Step 19: Documents to upload
In this step, you are to select the documents you have with you which you will upload. For example high school certificate, transcripts, medical report, birth certificate, and so on. Just select all the documents, then click continue to proceed to the last step.
Step 20: Documents uploading
The last step is to upload the documents you selected above. Make sure the documents are scanned and clear enough. Make sure they are in jpg extension, if not, convert it to jpg, and start uploading your documents one after the other.
